Pam Smith Pacesetter Award Winners

Congratulations to the following districts that were awarded the Pam Smith Pacesetter Award at the SEOEA-RA:

  • Athens EA
  • Belpre EA
  • Jackson City EA
  • Logan EA
  • Portsmouth City TA
  • Wellston TA

The Pam Smith Memorial Award is presented in honor of the late Pam Smith and recognizes local associations that demonstrate strong member engagement and participation throughout the school year.

To be eligible for this award, local associations must meet the following criteria within a single school year (August through July):

  • Have at least one member attend both SEOEA Representative Assemblies
  • Have at least one member attend both the SEOEA Fall Workshop and the SEOEA Spring Issue Conference
  • Achieve at least 10% membership participation in the OEA Fund

Locals that meet all three requirements will receive a certificate of recognition along with a $100 award from SEOEA. (Please note: the award amount will increase for the 2026–2027 school year.)
