Mary Elizabeth Billman Presented the SEOEA Friend of Education Award

 

Mary Elizabeth Billman was honored with the SEOEA Friend of Education Award during the SEOEA Fall Representative Assembly. Mrs. Billman has been an integral part of the Jackson Music Program for decades, generously sharing her time, talent, and dedication with students and the community.

Whether accompanying students, performing at competitions, or helping keep the band and choir programs running smoothly, Mrs. Billman’s commitment to music education is evident in everything she does. Since 2000, her contributions have included:

  • Concert & Symphonic Choir Accompanist
  • Solo & Ensemble Competition Accompanist
  • Choir and Band Eisteddfod Accompanist
  • Drama Club Spring Musical Pianist
  • Seamstress for Choir Dresses, Tuxedos, and Marching Band Uniforms
  • Band Trip Planning, including fundraising support
  • Private lesson tutor for students in the community
