Niki Angelo Recognized as SEOEA’s Friend of Education

Niki Angelo has always enjoyed art and learned by doodling with her dad at an early age.  She loves being around kids and expanded her paint party business to have her art studio in April 2023, where she could teach kids’ art classes in her environment.  As we all know, many schools have cut back on art or cut it entirely due to funding or pressure to spend more time on core subjects.  Niki wanted to allow kids to learn to have fun with art, use their imagination, be creative, and maybe even find that future Michelangelo.  Niki always encourages her participants to make the work their own by choosing their own colors or adding personal touches.  She describes the process in terms anyone can understand and follow by breaking down the steps and helping people understand art terms.

Niki’s programs have grown so much in the last year that she has 100 homeschooled and many public school students in her classes.  She offers classes for ages 3 to seniors in high school.  She provides programming for students during holidays and summer when schools are on break.  She offers family paint events, and children are always welcome at her events.  She has also provided classes for many fundraising events.

For Niki, it is not just seeing the talent in youth that brings her joy; getting to know them and their families has been even more rewarding.  Niki Angelo is a Friend of Education because she provides art opportunities that are currently very limited or unavailable to many students at school.
