SEOEA Fall Workshop

Registration for the annual SEOEA FALL WORKSHOP is now open! 

 

The 2026 SEOEA Fall Workshop will be held at Ohio University Inn & Conference Center on Saturday, October 10, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with lunch to follow. The OU Inn is located at 331 Richland Avenue in Athens.

This year’s workshop will feature an opening general session, Campaign 2026: Our Profession. Our Voice. Our Vote. followed by two in-depth training sessions of your choice.

  • When the System Hurts: Navigating the Hard Seasons Together
  • Your Rights and Responsibilities Related to Special Education in Ohio
  • SB 19: Immediate Implication for Reading Instruction and ‘Plans’
  • Code of Conduct: Only Bad People Get in Trouble, Right?

Bring a team from your local so there’s someone to attend every session and take back the information to share with your members!
All workshop sessions and meals are FREE for SEOEA members, but registration is required to attend.
 
Here are a few important workshop details:
  • Sign-in and breakfast begin at 8:00 a.m.
  • Workshop sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m.
  • Lunch will be served at the conclusion of the workshop.
  • All workshop attendees will receive a gift for attending!
  • All registrations must be submitted online by Monday, October 5. No late, email, or on-site registrations will be accepted.
  • Certificates of attendance will be emailed to attendees following the workshop.
